“This was the first
elk taken at McKen Hunting’s Area 23. This 6x6 trophy was nearly
perfectly symmetrical and scored 308 4/8 inches SCI. Notice the
‘whale’s-tale’ feature of the main beams.”

took this 7 x 8 – 15 point trophy elk with a bow. It had 348 7/8
inches of antler” |
“This magnificent
trophy elk was taken by booking agent Gary Strasser
of Northwoods Adventures.
It exceeded 400 inches SCI!” |
“Kent
really wanted this non-typical 7 x 10 – 17 point elk. His
patience paid off. Kent’s trophy bull scored 401 2/8 inch,
non-typical SCI! It was the only non-typical on Area 23! Kent also
took a fallow deer. In both cases he used a 300 Winchester Magnum
and a 150 grain bullet.” |

“David,
on your far right, made an impressive 300 yard shot across the
marsh at Area 23 to stop this 353 4/8 inch SCI bull elk. David
used a Weatherby 300 and 180 grain bullet.” |
“Jerry took this
multi-point 8 x 9 close up as it was coming out of the bush,
heading towards a small clearing. This elk measured 376 3/8 inch
SCI. Jerry used a Weatherby 300 and 180 grain bullet.” |

Area 23 with McKen Hunting on an elk hunt (he took a 6 x 6 – 422
inch elk) he took this whitetail deer. The 9 pointer scored 135
2/8 inches SCI. David plans to come back again with his son and
grandson.”
